This Privacy Policy explains how Prestige Physiotherapy Inc. collects, uses, and protects personal information through our website at prestigephysio.ca. It applies only to information we receive through the website, including our contact form and standard web traffic.
Health information collected at the clinic during your care (your chart, intake forms, treatment notes, billing for treatment) is regulated separately under Alberta’s Health Information Act (HIA). For questions about your in-clinic health record, contact the clinic directly at (587) 386-0094.
We comply with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect through the website
When you use prestigephysio.ca, we collect the following:
- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the reason for your inquiry, your message, and the date and time you submitted the form.
- IP address and security signals through our content delivery network (Cloudflare), used to protect the site against attacks and abuse.
- A bot-prevention token from Cloudflare Turnstile when you submit the contact form. This token confirms you are a person and not an automated bot.
- Standard server logs:the page you requested, your browser’s user-agent string, the response status, and the time of the request. These help us troubleshoot site issues.
We do not collect health information through this website. Do not send symptom details, diagnoses, medications, or other health information through the contact form. If you have a clinical question, contact the clinic directly.
How we use this information
We use the information described above for these purposes only:
- To respond to your inquiry or booking question.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of the website.
- To diagnose and fix technical problems on the site.
- To keep accurate records of communication with you.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising or profiling. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Third-party processors
A small number of third-party providers help us run the website. Each is contractually bound to handle data only as needed to deliver their service.
- Cloudflare delivers the site over a global content network, provides our security firewall, and runs the Turnstile bot-prevention check on our contact form. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request metadata. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google powers the live reviews shown on our site (Google Places API) and the embedded map on our Visit page. The map loads only when you click to open it. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- MXroute delivers email between the website and our [email protected] inbox. When you submit the contact form, MXroute transports the resulting message. See mxroute.com/privacy-policy.
- Jane Apphandles online booking. When you click “Book your visit,” you leave our website and go to prestigephysio.janeapp.com. Any information you enter on Jane App is handled under Jane’s privacy practices. See jane.app/privacy.
Cookies and tracking
We use only essential cookies. These come from Cloudflare for security and from Cloudflare Turnstile for bot prevention on the contact form. They keep the site working and protect it from abuse.
We do not use Google Analytics. We do not use Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We do not run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics scripts on this site.
How long we keep this information
- Contact form submissions: up to 2 years from the date of submission, so we can follow up on a conversation you started with us. After that we delete them.
- Server logs: purged after 30 days.
- Security and bot-prevention datahandled by Cloudflare follows Cloudflare’s retention practices.
Your rights under PIPEDA and Alberta PIPA
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information (subject to legal and contractual limits).
- File a complaint with our Privacy Officer or with a regulator.
How to exercise these rights

Changes to this policy
We update this Privacy Policy when our practices change. When we change anything material, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
